Well, spring is on the way so it must be time for me to visit Prince William
Sound again. First stop was Applegate rocks by helicopter (I talked Mike out of
the boat trip - phew!). Well, the weather was a bit to nasty so the next
morning around 7 I flew out to everybody's favorite sandbar, Kokinheenik at the
mouth of the copper river. Well, as you can see it's even more in the
intertidal zone than last year. But, who cares about that, right, what's a few
grand worth of equipment going in the drink for if we're doing good science.
Well, anyway, the ocean is definitely looking to have its way with this station.
