This is the Shaw Creek - Caribou Creek confluence in 2003 after we drilled a hole in the ice to see how deep it was and also make some water quality measurements. The water was under such pressure there that it came bubbling out of our hole in the ice. Mike came back a couple hours later to pick up a forgotten tool and reported that the entire area was covered in water.
