In 2002 Mike and I went back to this station once. We weren't able to get very close by snow machine in the winter so we had to wait until summer. At this point I'm downloading data from our data logger there. It was a nutty hike though as we got turned around and wandered for three or four hours with heavy packs. At this point I had just been stung by a bee to add to the scene. When we put in the station Mike, Sally, and I packed all of the batteries and steel up to the station here. Our packs were pushing 80 pounds on some of those trips so we've left a lot of sweat and tears back in these woods. However, they're looking to put in a mine and the road to it may pass through this area so our access may become much simpler (I’m crossing my fingers).
